Chiropractic care is personalised to your individual needs and may involve a combination of techniques that aim to help improve movement and function of your body.
Depending on your assessment and treatment goals, care may include manual chiropractic adjustments, gentle low-force techniques including Activator Methods, soft tissue release, mobility work and personalised exercises.
Not every treatment involves a “crack” or manual adjustment. Your chiropractor will explain the recommended approach and work with you to ensure you feel comfortable throughout your care.
At Mend Chiropractic in Glebe, Sydney’s Inner West, we take the time to understand your concerns and tailor treatment to your individual needs.

Yes. We provide gentle, age-appropriate chiropractic care for babies and children when clinically indicated. Techniques are carefully modified to suit each child’s size, stage of development, and comfort level.
With babies, treatment is extremely gentle — often using light fingertip pressure. With older children and teens, care is adapted to support growing bodies, posture, sport participation, and the general bumps and tumbles of childhood.
If you’re unsure whether chiropractic care is suitable for your child, we’re always happy to chat and answer your questions so you feel confident and comfortable in your decision.
-
Absolutely. Many women visit us throughout their pregnancy to help manage back pain, pelvic discomfort, sciatica, rib pain, or the general aches and stiffness that can come with postural changes and ligament softening.
We can use gentle techniques and supportive equipment (such as pregnancy pillows) to make sure you’re comfortable at every stage. Care is always adapted to suit where you’re at — whether that’s early weeks or well into your third trimester.
